Springfield Transfers Activities to Bonusan
Peter van Hogerhuis, founder and CEO of the family business Springfield Nutraceuticals BV, had been a pioneer in helping to improve human health naturally since 1997. He closely followed developments in the world of nutrients and science. Based on groundbreaking research and advanced formulations, he regularly introduced innovative nutritional supplements. The company slogan, “Health through Nature, Science and Innovation,” perfectly encapsulates what he stood for. As a result, he gained worldwide recognition as a beacon of integrity and quality in the industry.
After the unexpected passing of Peter van Hogerhuis in March 2024, we explored ways to preserve and continue his life’s work and vision: “helping to improve human health naturally.” However, it gradually became clear that without Peter’s unique knowledge, experience, and personal involvement, it would not be possible to continue growing the company in the same direction. Therefore, we made the — to us — logical decision to seek collaboration with Bonusan.
Springfield and Bonusan are both (originally) family businesses from the Hoeksche Waard and are active in the development and production of high-quality nutritional supplements. The mission and vision of both companies are closely aligned: promoting health through the use of natural ingredients, grounded in scientific insight.
As of September 1, 2025, Springfield Nutraceuticals will transfer its activities to Bonusan. As a result, the majority of Springfield’s unique product range will remain available in the future, and the source of scientific background information will be safeguarded within Bonusan’s knowledge institute, Natura Foundation. We are confident that the Springfield products are in good hands with Bonusan.
What does this mean for you?
Until September 1, 2025, nothing will change for you. You can continue to place your orders in the usual way, and Springfield will supply the products. Starting September 1, 2025, you will be able to order Springfield products directly from Bonusan or through wholesalers, depending from the country you live in.
