With a self-emulsifying delivery system for better absorption
Like tocopherols, tocotrienols belong to the Vitamin E-group, an essential fat-soluble vitamin. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress, among other things. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant for the protection of cell membranes in our body.
Delivery system for optimal bioavailability and effectiveness of tocotrienols
Tocotrienols are unsaturated and have, therefore, a distinctly different biological activity than tocopherols. Tocotrienols are less well-absorbed in the intestinal tract.
The patented delivery system TocoGaia™ ensures that the tocotrienols are effectively absorbed and distributed to vital organs and tissues. TocoGaia™ ensures that the components are self-emulsifying, resulting in a 250% increase in absorption. This is also demonstrated in the first and only human study which examined the tissue distribution of tocotrienols. Due to the special delivery system, a lower intake is sufficient to achieve higher plasma levels. In addition, the absorption does not depend on fat intake with food.
Etrinol tocotrienol complex mainly contains the active alpha- and gamma-tocotrienols. Each capsule contains a mixture of 50 mg of tocotrienols and 20 IU d-alpha-tocopherol. The natural source of the tocotrienols is red palm oil of a sustainable source.
